Once we have a lift gate selected the install begins. The starting time step is prepping the truck by removing the existing lift gate or bumper. Next we "time the lift gate". This is the technical process of properly positioning the elevator gate. This ensures that the deck is level when upwardly but also fully articulates and folds nether the truck into its proper position. In one case this step is complete, it is welded in place.

Next we run electrical and install the operating switch. At this indicate the mechanical installation is consummate. We then put the lift gate through an operational quality check and brand any necessary adjustments. Once this is passed, it is off to the pigment berth. After paint, the last step is to install the safety stickers.
